Dr. Lauren E. Karatanevski

Dr. Lauren is committed to getting to the root of the problem. She will help patients deal with pain, increase mobility, optimize health, prevent injury, and increase participation in activities of daily living.
About Me
Dr. Lauren Karatanevski is an evidenced-based chiropractic practitioner and is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Prior to attending CMCC, Lauren received a full athletic scholarship to the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill in springboard and platform diving. She obtained an honours degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While attending CMCC, Lauren completed the Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture course. She also worked as a Certified Kinesiologist. She has a passion for helping people rehabilitate and recover from injuries suffered while participating in sports and everyday activities. A Toronto native, Lauren is active in the community and has volunteered and raised money for well-known organizations, such as "The Heart and Stroke Foundation", "The Geneva Center for Autism", the "Second Harvest Food Drive and the "Shaare Zedek Hospital Foundation." Some of Lauren's past academic and athletic achievements include: - Nicola Tantalo Memorial Award (2011) - Canadian Chiropractor Magazine Award (2012) - Students' Council Dedication Award (2012) - Donald C. Sutherland Students' Council Award (2012) - 4-time National Springboard and Platform Championship Medalist - First North Carolina diver in history to compete in the World Championship - 2007 FINA World Aquatics Championship participant (Melbourne, Australia) - 2008 FINA World Cup/Olympic Trials participant (Beijing, China)
