Located in North Bay, Ontario, Sarah completed her undergraduate studies at Nipissing, focusing on Anatomy, Physiology, zoology, environmental biology and microbiology.
Her 4th year thesis project in Dr. Tony Parkes' genetics lab focused on the immune system reaction and mortality of Drosophila spp. lacking the gene for superoxide dismutase.
